About the Creator

Guardian Owl was founded by JR Garrett, the creator of this course. With years of experience in the safety industry, I have encountered the challenges faced by drivers firsthand. My goal is to share my expertise and help you develop the necessary skills to drive safely and responsibly. After a life-changing truck collision, when he was rear-ended by a distracted driver who was texting, he opened his eyes to how dangerous and unsafe habits can be. Drawing on his experience driving routes, managing safety programs, and helping contractors at risk of losing FedEx contracts, he launched the company in 2022 to build safety cultures that ensure drivers go home every night. Our mission: “Working to keep you safe every day.”
